Professor Christian Müller

Free University of Berlin, Germany

Christian Müller graduated from the University of Bielefeld (Germany) und the University of Michigan (USA) in 1998. He got his PhD in 2000. Müller worked almost 10 years in the field of Homogeneous Catalysis and Coordination Chemistry in Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), the Netherlands. Since 2012 he is Professor of Inorganic Chemistry in the Free University of Berlin, Institute of Chemistry and Biochemistry.

Christian Müller’s working group is focused on the synthesis, coordination chemistry and application of low-coordinated phosphorus compounds. In particular, functionalized phosphinines and azaphospholes are the focus of interest as ligands in homogeneous catalysis and new materials with interesting photophysical properties.
